Devotees Flock to Mahakal Temple for Sawan Festival

Thousands of devotees gathered at the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain to mark the beginning of the holy month of Sawan. The temple doors opened at 3 AM for rituals including Panchamrit Abhishek and Bhasma Aarti. Celebrations and devotional chants filled the air as pilgrims participated in the ceremonies. Similar scenes of devotion were reported from other Shiva temples across the country, with large crowds of Kanwariyas seen in Haridwar.
