RBI Forex Swap Facility Draws Over $40 Billion in Inflows

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has mobilized over $40.82 billion through its foreign exchange swap facility as of July 31. This initiative was launched to strengthen the country's balance of payments and encourage capital inflows. Despite these inflows, the Indian Rupee has reportedly remained under pressure, and the forex reserves have increased to $682.35 billion. The RBI's FX forward book saw a slight decrease to $103.3 billion.
