Floods in India: Assam faces recovery, Thane toll rises, Odisha rescue

Flooding across India has resulted in significant loss of life and displacement. In Assam, the death toll has risen to 80, with the state shifting focus to rehabilitation and recovery efforts. Nearly 13,000 families in Assam remain without electricity. Meanwhile, monsoon rains in Thane have caused 18 deaths, affecting nearly 800 people. Rescue teams have been deployed to flood-hit areas in Odisha's Bhadrak district. Separately, Gautam Adani has donated Rs 11 crore to Assam's flood relief fund.
