Indian-Origin Lawyer Fined Millions in US for Asylum Fraud

An Indian-origin lawyer in the United States has been fined over $470,000 (approximately Rs 4 crore) for preparing and filing fraudulent documents in 54 immigration cases. The lawyer allegedly submitted 118 fake documents as part of asylum claims. The penalty was imposed by a US court for these alleged fraudulent activities.
