Fuel prices in India remain stable despite global fluctuations

The fuel prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and other cities remained stable on July 31, despite a marginal fluctuation in the global market. The Brent crude oil price rose due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The government has not announced any changes to fuel taxes. The opposition alleged that the government's decision to keep fuel prices stable was a result of its own policies. The police claimed that there were no plans to increase fuel prices. School holidays are in effect today in several states across India.
