Campaign Against E20 Fuel Begins with Protests and Hunger Strike

Ahead of a planned national campaign against E20 fuel, commentator Tehseen Poonawalla claimed he was placed under house arrest by Delhi Police. Poonawalla stated he was detained without papers, while police cited law and order concerns. Separately, Arvind Kejriwal announced a national town hall event as part of the Aam Aadmi Party's campaign against the E20 fuel policy, set to begin on August 1. Poonawalla also planned a hunger strike and a silent march to Gandhi Smriti.
