Multiple Indian Courts Deliver Verdicts in Homicide Cases
Indian courts have issued judgments in several homicide cases. In one instance, a man received a rigorous life sentence for killing his wife over dowry demands 11 years prior. Another man accused of his wife's murder was found dead near her grave. The Allahabad High Court acquitted a husband sentenced to life for a 1979 murder, citing a four-year delay in the case. Separately, the same court intervened in a case where a father allegedly confined his daughters after they renounced their faith, ordering their production.
