Indian firms secure significant defence and telecom orders
Two Indian companies, HFCL and Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), have announced securing substantial new orders. HFCL received an order worth ₹441 crore for optical fibre cable exports. BEL announced a new order valued at ₹847 crore, adding to previous orders of ₹572 crore in July and ₹1,081 crore in June. Despite these recent contracts, BEL shares experienced a decline in 2026.
