Telangana Transfers Cyber Crime DCP After FIRs Against Meta, Protest Accounts
The Cyber Crime Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Hyderabad has been relieved of his duties following the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) against Meta and accounts linked to a protest. The FIRs were reportedly filed over morphed videos targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest organized by the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP). The transfer occurred days after the Meta India head was booked.
