Russia strikes Ukraine cities, killing civilians; missile defense shortage cited
Russia launched a major missile and drone attack on Kyiv, killing 10 people and hitting fuel stations, according to reports. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated Ukraine has run out of Patriot interceptor missiles, a shortage he said costs lives. Ukraine also increased attacks on Russian logistics and energy facilities in Crimea, a strategic target. Separately, a bomb blast near a Moscow restaurant killed three people and injured at least 21.
