Woman shot during Chandigarh eviction drive; advocate arrested
A 57-year-old woman was shot in the forehead during an eviction proceeding in Chandigarh. She had arrived at the property with court permission and police protection. An argument reportedly ensued with a high court advocate present at the scene, who then allegedly fired a shot. The woman was hospitalized and is in critical condition, and the advocate has been arrested.
