Thousands of migrants crossed into Spanish enclave Ceuta from Morocco

An estimated 60,000 migrants, primarily from Morocco, crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta over a few days. At least 67 people died during the influx. Many migrants later returned to Morocco, citing hunger, exhaustion, and hostility. Spain has announced plans to install a fence and has criticized some EU partners. The situation in Ceuta was reported as returning to normal.
