President Assents to Anti-Paper Leak Law, Fast-Track Courts Designated

President Droupadi Murmu has granted assent to an amendment enhancing punishments for unfair means in public examinations, effectively enacting a tougher anti-paper leak law. This law aims for stricter punishments and speedier probes. In parallel, the Calcutta High Court has designated five fast-track courts specifically for NEET 2026 paper leak cases.
