Kejriwal announces protest against E20 petrol, government responds

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal announced a protest against the government's E20 petrol policy. Kejriwal stated he would march to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence on August 4 with a petition signed by over two lakh people and 100 individuals. He also brought a mechanic to an event to explain alleged damage to vehicles from E20 fuel. In response, the BJP criticized Kejriwal, suggesting the air quality had improved due to E20 petrol. Farmers in Punjab have also expressed concerns about the policy's impact on maize and sugarcane crops.
