Centre Releases Advance Disaster Relief Funds to Seven States

The Central government has approved the advance release of ₹2,117.85 crore as disaster relief funds to seven flood-affected states. This financial assistance is intended to expedite relief and rescue operations in the affected regions. Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Nagaland have already received the first installment for the financial year 2026-27.
