Earthquake Tremors Felt Across North India, Epicenter in Delhi
Earthquake tremors were felt across parts of North India, including Delhi and the Northeast, on August 2, 2026. The National Center for Seismology reported a magnitude of 3.1 with its epicenter in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Another report indicated a magnitude of 2.9 with the epicenter in Delhi's northern district at a depth of 8 kilometers. The tremors occurred in the early morning hours.
