Heavy Rains Cause Deaths and Displacement in Kerala and Karnataka

Torrential rains have led to significant rainfall and landslides in India's Kerala and Karnataka states. In Kerala, at least eight people have died and thousands have been evacuated to relief camps, with some areas experiencing flooding. In Karnataka's Shivamogga district, landslides triggered by heavy rain killed three members of a single family, with another person injured.
