India's New Toll System Allows for Barrier-Free Payments on Highways

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has implemented a new toll system that allows vehicles to pay while in motion. The system, which includes the Manesar-Jaipur highway, uses a barrier-free toll plaza at Shahjahanpur. This change aims to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow on highways. The new system was launched as part of the Multi-Level Fee Facility (MLFF) project. The NHAI claims that this will increase efficiency and reduce waiting times for motorists.
