Indian athletes win multiple medals at Commonwealth Games
Indian athletes secured numerous medals across various disciplines at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Boxers contributed significantly to the medal tally. Gulveer Singh achieved a historic double podium finish in athletics, becoming the first Indian to win two medals in a single Games. In judo, Asmita and Harsh won gold medals. Tejaswin Shankar made history as India's first decathlon medallist, winning bronze, while Yashvir Singh also secured a bronze in javelin throw. Praveen Chithravel won a silver medal in the triple jump.
