BJP Leader Arrested in Steel Plant Theft Case
A BJP leader was arrested on charges of scrap metal trading, following a theft at a steel plant in Bilaspur. The incident occurred on February 10th, when thieves stole 1,500 tons of steel from the Bilaspur Steel Plant. Police claimed that the BJP leader had bought and sold the stolen steel. The opposition alleged that the government was trying to cover up the incident. The party has expelled its district secretary for six years.
