Sarpanch Threatens Self-Harm Over Officer's Transfer, Another Receives Death Threat
In Alwar, a village head (Sarpanch) threatened to commit suicide if a Village Development Officer (VDO) was not released from their post. Separately, in Palwal, a Sarpanch reported receiving a death threat via phone. Police have registered a case under the SC Act in connection with the Palwal threat.
