Vande Bharat Train Facilitates Organ Transport for Transplants
The Vande Bharat Express train was utilized twice within three days in Gujarat to transport donor hearts for transplant surgeries. On Sunday, the train was specially stopped at Ankleshwar station to take a heart from Ankleshwar to Ahmedabad. Another instance saw the train carrying a heart from Surat to Ahmedabad, with successful transplants reported in both cases, leading to surprise and admiration for Indian Railways.
