Madhya Pradesh MBBS Interns Strike Over Stipend Hike

Approximately 3600 MBBS interns across 13 government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh began an indefinite strike on Monday. The interns are demanding an increase in their stipends. Emergency services are expected to continue operating. The strike could potentially disrupt health services for up to a month. Some reports also highlight existing vacancies for doctors in medical colleges, such as 77 vacant positions at Rajnandgaon Medical College.
