Chhattisgarh bridge collapses, averting major bus accident
A 60-year-old bridge on the Bilaspur-Pendra route in Chhattisgarh collapsed into two parts. The incident occurred at the Bansajhal bridge over the Champi Nala. A bus carrying approximately 35 to 50 passengers was on the bridge when it gave way, but all passengers reportedly escaped unharmed. The collapse was averted from becoming a major accident.
