Indian stock markets rally on falling crude oil and foreign inflows
Indian stock markets extended a winning streak to a fourth day, with the BSE Sensex rising 544.39 points (0.70%) to close at 78,639.03 and the Nifty surging 1.6%. The gains were attributed to falling crude oil prices and increased foreign fund inflows. The Indian rupee remained nearly unchanged against the US dollar. Some outlets also noted optimism regarding potential Gulf peace talks and a US market rally driven by similar factors.
