Supreme Court asks ED about releasing funds from TMC's frozen accounts

The Supreme Court questioned the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on whether a limited amount of funds can be released from the Trinamool Congress's (TMC) frozen bank accounts to cover the party's daily operational expenses. The TMC had challenged the ED's freeze order. The court is considering limited relief for the party and has sought the ED's stance on the matter. The next hearing is scheduled for August 11.
