Apple briefly removed Telegram from App Store over abusive content

Apple temporarily removed the Telegram messaging app from its App Store globally due to violations of guidelines concerning sexual abuse content. Telegram CEO Pavel Durov stated Apple overreacted and removed the app before contacting him, but it was restored after the developer removed the offending content and banned the user responsible. Some reports also noted a search issue that persisted after the app's restoration.
