Raj Thackeray alleges Rs 18 crore annual theft at Siddhivinayak Temple; audit ordered

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray alleged that Rs 18 crore is stolen annually from the donations at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple. Following this allegation, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde ordered an audit of the temple's donations for the past five years. Separately, nine people were arrested by the ACB for alleged irregularities.
