Nissan reports quarterly profit driven by cost cuts and sales
Nissan Motor Co. reported a return to quarterly profit for the first quarter, driven by cost-cutting measures and improved sales. The Japanese automaker announced a net profit of ¥104.9 billion ($717 million) for the April-June period. This profit was achieved despite a slight decrease in revenue, which fell to ¥2.57 trillion. The company maintained its full-year financial outlook.
