Election Commission Revises Voter List Schedule in Delhi, Maharashtra
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has revised the schedule for the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls in Delhi and Maharashtra. The deadline for door-to-door verification by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) has been extended to August 17. Claims and objections will be examined between August 24 and October 22, with the final voter rolls to be published on October 27. This marks a delay in the voter list update process for these regions.
