Indian Rupee Gains Against US Dollar Amid Falling Crude Oil Prices
The Indian rupee strengthened against the US dollar for the sixth consecutive session, reaching 95.31. This rise was attributed to foreign institutional investor (FII) inflows and gains in domestic stock markets, coupled with a drop in crude oil prices. In early trade, the rupee had opened flat at 95.35 and then gained 3 paise to 95.34. Meanwhile, crude oil prices rebounded after a significant decline, with Brent crude futures rising 0.7% to $84.39 per barrel after a previous 7% drop.
