Exam irregularities reported for NEET and Karnataka Police recruitment
Multiple exam irregularities have been reported across India. In Karnataka, police recruitment exam candidates protested alleged OMR sheet mismatches, leading to a walkout in Vijayapura. The Karnataka Home Minister attributed the issue to a "misunderstanding." Separately, six NEET-UG candidates have approached the Supreme Court alleging discrepancies in their OMR sheets, with one claim stating their calculated scores were 650 but the OMR answers were not theirs. The Chhattisgarh High Court previously stated that OMR tampering allegations cannot be accepted solely on a candidate's suspicion. In Jharkhand, a row over an exam paper leak has involved political parties.
