Calcutta High Court denies TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee foreign travel for eye treatment

The Calcutta High Court dismissed TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee's plea to travel abroad for eye treatment. The court rejected his petition after he refused to appear before a medical board. Banerjee had previously approached the Supreme Court regarding the Calcutta High Court's order. The High Court stated that treatment is important, regardless of the location, and suggested it could be done in India.
