India's Services Sector Growth Slows to 4.5-Year Low in July
India's services sector experienced its slowest growth in over four years in July, according to the HSBC India Services PMI. The index fell to 53.1, its lowest point since February 2022, indicating a significant slowdown in expansion. This decline was attributed to weaker demand and a slowdown in new orders. While domestic demand weakened, export business showed resilience. In the automotive sector, Sonalika recorded its highest ever July sales with 11,442 tractors, achieving 27.2% growth and gaining market share.
