Badminton adopts new 15-point scoring system, Gopichand expresses concern

Badminton's international governing body, the BWF, will implement a new scoring system of three games of 15 points each, replacing the current 21-point format starting next year. BWF stated the change aims to reduce player workload amidst a busy schedule. Indian badminton coach Pullela Gopichand commented that the new system could negatively impact some players, potentially leading to the elimination of certain athletes.
