Organizers promise improvements after India Open badminton event issues

Organizers have pledged to prevent issues like bird droppings and stray animals from recurring at the upcoming World Championships in Delhi. The Badminton Association of India (BAI) stated that infrastructure problems at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, highlighted during the India Open, have been addressed. The venue has undergone a Rs 20-crore facelift, with specialized lighting and other upgrades to ensure a smoother event. BAI General Secretary Sanjay Mishra described the India Open as a "test" and assured readiness for the BWF World Championships.
