Parliamentary panel seeks Meta apology; Rahul Gandhi criticizes PM Modi
A parliamentary panel, led by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, has demanded an apology from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg within three days over the removal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's video from Facebook, calling it an "attack on democracy." Separately, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that students are in "severe pain" and require an apology, not "forgiveness," from Prime Minister Modi. Gandhi also alleged that students were assaulted and threatened, blaming Home Minister Amit Shah and demanding answers in Parliament. In another development, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar met with students and assured them of resolving their concerns.
