Ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Plans December Return, Criticizes Government

Ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced her intention to return to Bangladesh in December. She stated that fear and personal safety would not deter her duty to the people. Hasina also claimed that members of her Awami League party have been persecuted and killed since her ouster. She called for the ban on her party to be lifted and criticized the current government, suggesting protests were used to gain power outside of elections. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has inaugurated a museum at the former official residence of Hasina, marking the anniversary of the 'July Mass Uprising Day'.
