Indian Railways to provide full bedding to RAC ticket holders
Indian Railways has announced a new rule to provide full bedding, including blankets, sheets, and pillows, to passengers holding Reserved Accommodation Certificate (RAC) tickets. Previously, RAC passengers, who are allocated half a berth, did not receive a full bedding kit. This change aims to improve the travel comfort for RAC ticket holders. Separately, railway authorities in Betul have increased fines for travelling without tickets or in the wrong coach.
