Mother flees with daughter and lover, relative injured
In Ludhiana, a mother reportedly fled with her daughter and her lover. When a 12-year-old cousin attempted to intervene and rescue the daughter, she was allegedly slapped and dragged about 50 meters by the fleeing mother. The incident was captured on video. In a separate but similar report from Deoria, a mother was allegedly beaten and injured when she tried to stop her daughter from leaving with someone. A police complaint was filed in the Deoria case.
