Calcutta High Court denies TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's foreign travel plea
The Calcutta High Court has rejected a petition filed by Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee seeking permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. The court stated it is not a medical expert institution and decisions on such matters must be based on doctors' opinions. The court also directed that Banerjee first undergo treatment at SSKM Hospital.
