Indian Railways Reaffirms Bedroll Policy for RAC Passengers
The Railway Ministry has reiterated its directive that all passengers with Reserved Accommodation for Charted (RAC) tickets traveling in AC coaches must receive a complete bedroll kit. This instruction applies to all AC coaches except AC Chair Car. The directive, issued in a letter dated August 4, emphasizes that RAC passengers should be provided bedrolls on par with other passengers. This reiteration follows repeated complaints regarding the provision of bedroll kits.
