India to add 11 new flying training schools, boosting pilot capacity

The Indian government has issued Letters of Intent (LoIs) for the establishment of 11 new flying training schools (FTOs) across seven Airports Authority of India (AAI) airports. This initiative is expected to increase the country's annual pilot training capacity by 750 cadets. The move aims to strengthen the domestic aviation training ecosystem.
