UGC Identifies 32 Fake Universities; Centre Directs Legal Action
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has identified 32 fake universities operating across India. The Centre has directed states and Union Territories to take legal action against these institutions. Dainik Jagran reported that the largest networks of these fake universities are concentrated in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Greater Kashmir noted that the UGC identified these universities.
