Kerala rescuer dies after saving farmer in flash flood
Rescuer R Rajesh died in a flash flood in Kerala's Kannur district after giving his life jacket to a 61-year-old farmer. Rajesh was part of a team attempting to rescue the farmer who was struggling in the rising waters. The farmer was saved, but Rajesh was swept away by the current. The Chief Minister of Kerala acknowledged the incident.
