Sri Lanka Navy Rescues 11 Indian Fishermen After Boat Incident

Eleven Indian fishermen were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy after their unregistered trawler experienced a technical snag and drifted towards the Neduntheevu islet. The fishermen were reportedly engaged in bottom trawling. Following the incident, FS Misri sought Sri Lanka's cooperation for the early release of the fishermen and their boats. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister urged the central government to ensure their release.
