Ranchi students protest JPSC/JSSC exams; Rahul Gandhi speaks to protesters

Students in Ranchi have been protesting for 13 days over issues related to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) exams. Some protesters are demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, calling him unfit for office. The Jharkhand government expressed objections to the names of journalists and lawyers included in the students' negotiation committee. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi spoke via audio call to the protesting students, promising to help resolve their issues after they presented their demands regarding exam mafias. In a separate but related event, authorities in Prayagraj cancelled permission for Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' program, which Priyanka Gandhi questioned.
