Bihar schools to have half-days on Saturdays

Bihar's education minister Mithilesh Tiwari announced that all teacher issues will be resolved by October 31st. Following this, teachers will focus solely on student education and problem-solving. Consequently, government schools in Bihar will implement half-days on Saturdays. Classes for students in grades 1 to 8 will conclude at 12 PM, with mid-day meals served between 12:00 PM and 12:40 PM. The new timings aim to allow teachers to concentrate on academic matters after their pending issues are addressed.
