Jharkhand students protest exam irregularities, form delegation for talks

Student protests in Jharkhand over alleged exam irregularities have entered their 13th day. On Tuesday, students formed an 11-member delegation to hold talks with the Jharkhand government. The protests are related to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) exams. While some reports mention demands for the cancellation of civil services exams, others focus on pending fee reimbursements and scholarship arrears. A principal in Jaipur was suspended following a protest by deaf and mute students against poor infrastructure and food, an event separate from the Jharkhand protests.
