India has 62-day coal stock buffer for power sector
India's coal stocks are sufficient to meet power demand for 62 days, according to the Coal Ministry. As of July, coal production increased by 7.51% year-over-year, with dispatches rising by 17.34%. The total coal available across the supply chain is approximately 148 million tonnes.
